[UNDER-20 WOMEN'S WORLD CUP] Germany clinched the Under-20 Women's World Cup with its sixth win in six games, a 2-0 victory over Nigeria, before a crowd of 24,633 in Bielefeld

Germany, the first host nation to win an under-20 women's championship, won all six games by two or more goals, and its 20 goals were the most scored in a tournament since the USA's 26 at the 2002 Under-19 championship in Canada.

Alexandra Popp's 10th goal of the tournament in the eighth minute put the Germans ahead, and an own goal in stoppage time clinched the title.

South Korea beat Colombia, 1-0, in the third-place game on star Ji So Yun's eighth goal of the tournament.
