If you tune in to Friday evening's 8 pm ET broadcast on Fox Soccer Channel -- or go to Pontiac Silverdome -- for Friday's friendly between Italy's AC Milan Italy and Greece's Panathinaikos, you'll be hearing that irritating sound that plagued the World Cup. The Silverdome has decided to allow fans to bring vuvuzelas.
The stadium's owner had polled fans on whether they wanted to let the buzzing horns inside. Despite polling about 60-40 against, venue spokesman John Mozena said, "the numbers were a lot closer than we had expected" so officials decided to "give it a try."
