Dayton tops preseason poll

[ATLANTIC-10 WOMEN] For the second straight year, Dayton has been selected to claim the Atlantic 10 women’s soccer title.

The Flyers, who posted an impressive 16-1-6 overall record en route to the program’s sixth A-10 title and second-round appearance in the NCAA Tournament, return five 2009 All-Conference selections, including Defensive Player of the Year Katherine Boone, as well as Rookie of the Year Colleen Williams.

Charlotte, picked second in the coaches’ poll, returns two-time Offensive Player of the Year Whitney Weinraub.
