[GERMANY] Germany national team defender Jerome Boateng will miss next month's Euro 2012 qualifiers against Belgium and Azerbaijan after his knee injury suffered on the friendly against Denmark was aggravated on the flight home when a stewardess ran her drink cart into his knee by accident.

Boateng joined Manchester City from Hamburg this summer but will have to wait at least another month for his debut in the English Premier League.

"It's annoying," he said. "I imagined my start at Manchester City to be quite different, of course."
