Vancouver gets top pick in 2011 SuperDraft

[MLS] Major League Soccer has multiple draft orders or rankings for all sorts of signing mechanisms. On Monday, 2011 expansion teams Vancouver and Portland had their pick of those mechanisms in which they wanted priority.

Vancouver had won a coin toss last month before the MLS All-Star Game and went first, selecting the top pick in the 2011 SuperDraft.

Vancouver director of soccer operations Tom Soehn and Portland general manager Gavin Wilkinson both agree the 2011 SuperDraft will be strong.
