[UC IRVINE MEN] UC Irvine, winner of back-to-back Big West Tournament championships, is back in the Soccer America Top 25 after opening the 2010 season with three straight shutout wins.

The No. 25 Anteaters defeated Wisconsin, 1-0, Monday evening to win the UC Irvine College Classic.

Senior Corey Attaway, the tournament MVP, headed in the only goal in the 14th minute. Junior Andrew Fontein had two saves as he earned his third straight shutout of  the season.

Jimmy Turner, who assisted on Attaway's goal, JV transfer Miguel Ibarra and Fontein also earned all-tournament honors.

UCI's big loss was 2009 Soccer America MVP Irving Garcia, who is now playing for MLS's New York Red Bulls.
