Fox Soccer Plus acquires Ligue 1 rights

[TELEVISION GUIDE] American fans will be able to regularly watch France's Ligue 1, the only one of the major European leagues not readily available on U.S. television. Fox has reached an agreement with Canal Plus Events to show Ligue 1 matches on Fox Soccer Plus and Fox Soccer Channel.
 
Fox Soccer Plus will air one Ligue 1 match per round (including Sunday’s showdown between Bordeaux and Lyon at 3 p.m. ET).  Fox Soccer Channel will televise five Ligue 1 matches per year.

The French-language pay channel TV5Monde airs a Ligue 1 game each Saturday at 12:55 p.m. ET.
