[OLD DOMINION-NORTH CAROLINA] Ghanaian freshman Gideon Asante scored two goals to give Old Dominion a 2-1 win over second-ranked North Carolina on Tuesday evening.
 
The Tar Heels took the lead on a goal by sophomore Enzo Martinez in the 25th minute, but Asante equalized with 46 seconds left in the half.
 
In the second half Asante took a pass from sophomore Shane Howard on a break and scored to give ODU the win.
 
Senior goalie Evan Newton made seven saves to become ODU's all-time leader in that category with 209 saves.
