[MICHIGAN STATE-INDIANA MEN] Celebrating his 21st birthday, junior Will Bruin scored his 11th and 12th goals of the year and assisted on third goal by Joe Tolen as Indiana took command of the Big Ten race with a 3-0 win at Michigan State Sunday afternoon.

After opening 2-3-0 under first-year coach Todd Yeagley, the Hoosiers have gone 6-1-1 to claim first place.

Bruin and Tolen each scored on either side of halftime, and they teamed up to put the game when Tolen fed a perfect ball to Bruin in the box, who headed it home past a helpless Avery Steinlage in the Spartan goal.

Michigan State has a conference-best 33 goals this season, but goalkeeper Luis Soffner was forced to make just one save.
