[VIDEO PICK] U.S. striker Jozy Altidore scored his first goal of the season for Spanish club Villarreal in its 1-1 tie at third division Polideportivo Ejido in the first leg of their Copa del Rey round-of-32 series.

Altidore, who returned to Villarreal after spending the 2009-2010 season on loan with England's Hull City, hasn't seen La Liga action yet this season but made a case for more playing time with his 44th minute strike on Wednesday. ...

    nice goal. Looks like some good ball control there. Just as a striker should. Hope he gets more playtime!
