[MEXICO] Monterrey came from behind twice but Santos prevailed, 3-2, in the first leg of the Mexican league final thanks to an 86th minute own goal by Duilio Davino, the former Mexican national team defender who spent 2008 in MLS with FC Dallas. The second leg is on Sunday (Telemundo, 6:55 pm ET).

Santos took the lead in the 23rd minute with a goal by Jorge Estrada set up by Ecuadoran Christian Benitez. Chilean Humberto Suazo equalized for Monterrey 15 minutes later.

Darwin Quintero struck for Santos before halftime and Neri Cardozo tied it up 10 minutes into the second half.

Davino put the ball into his own net when he deflected a cross from Jose Cardenas.
