Zips book return to Men's College Cup

[AKRON-CALIFORNIA MEN] Akron will return to the Men's College for the second year in a row after surviving a wild game against California. The Zips won 3-2 in a shootout after their game ended in a 3-3 tie.

UA goalkeeper David Meves made back-to-back saves on attempts by Servando Carrasco and Davis Paul in the shootout to send the Zips on the Men's College Cup semifinals against Michigan.

Cal went ahead at the half hour mark, the Zips came to take 2-1 and 3-2 leads before John Fi tzpatrick tied the score for the Golden Bears with 89 seconds left in regulation.
