Major League Soccer announced the selection order of the 2006 MLS SuperDraft, to be held on Friday, Jan. 20, 2006 in Philadelphia, Pa. in conjunction with the NSCAA Convention at the Pennsylvania Convention Center.

Conditional Picks (Conditions must be met 24 hours prior to the start of 2006 SuperDraft):

& - January 14, 2005: FC Dallas acquired a Chicago Fire 2006 2nd Round SuperDraft pick and goalkeeper Henry Ring for Dallas' 2005 3rd Round SuperDraft pick (29th overall - originally San Jose's). Chicago has the option of choosing which one of their 2006 Second Round SuperDraft picks they will surrender to FC Dallas to complete the trade.

Dallas had acquired the 29th overall pick, the 6th overall pick and midfielders Richard Mulrooney and Arturo Alvarez from San Jose earlier in the SuperDraft for midfielder Brad Davis, an allocation and the 2005 4th overall SuperDraft pick. San Jose selected midfielder Danny O'Rourke with the 4th overall pick; FC Dallas selected defender Drew Moor with the 6th overall pick; and Chicago selected forward Chris Rolfe with the 29th overall pick.

@ - February 1, 2005: The MetroStars acquired Real Salt Lake's highest 2006 2nd Round SuperDraft pick and an allocation for defender Eddie Pope. Since RSL had previously traded their natural 2006 2nd Round pick to Chicago (see C below), their highest current selection is the 5th pick in the 2nd Round (17th overall - originally the MetroStars; see E below).

# - February 23, 2005: Colorado acquires Real Salt Lake's natural 2007 2nd Round SuperDraft pick for forward Jordan Cila; However, if RSL has a 2006 2nd Round SuperDraft pick 24 hours prior to the 2006 SuperDraft, the pick would be surrendered to the Rapids in place of the 2007 selection.

How original picks changed hands:

A - 1st Round, 9th pick:

January 14, 2005: Columbus Crew acquired Colorado's natural 2006 2nd Round SuperDraft pick for forward Jeff Cunningham.

B - 2nd Round, 1st pick:

August 19, 2005: New England Revolution acquired Chivas USA's natural 2006 2nd Round SuperDraft pick (13th overall) for salary considerations. Salary considerations can be acquired when used to sign a player that is replacing another that is placed on the Season Ending Injury list. Chivas USA signed GK Sergio Garcia to take the place of the injured Martin Zuniga.

C - 2nd Round, 2nd pick:

December 30, 2004: Chicago Fire acquires Real Salt Lake's natural 2006 2nd Round SuperDraft pick (14th overall) and RSL's natural 2005 3rd Round SuperDraft pick (25th overall) for forward Dipsy Selolwane and defender Evan Whitfield. Chicago then traded the 2005 25th overall pick to D.C. United - see F below.

D - 2nd Round, 3rd pick:

April 26, 2005: FC Dallas acquired Columbus' natural 2006 2nd Round SuperDraft pick (15th overall) for forward Cornell Glen.

E - 2nd Round, 5th pick:

January 14, 2005: Real Salt Lake acquired the MetroStars' natural 2006 2nd Round SuperDraft pick (17th overall) for a Youth International Slot. The slot returns to Real Salt Lake following the 2006 season.

February 1, 2005: The MetroStars acquired Real Salt Lake's highest 2006 2nd Round SuperDraft pick and an allocation for defender Eddie Pope - see @ above.

F - 2nd Round, 7th pick:

January 13, 2005: Chicago Fire acquired D.C. United's natural 2006 2nd Round SuperDraft pick (19th overall) for the Fire's first pick in the 3rd Round of the 2005 SuperDraft (25th overall - originally RSL's).

United surrendered the 2005 25th overall pick to the MetroStars to complete a conditional trade from March 1, 2004, in which United acquired the rights to forward Jaime Moreno from the MetroStars for a United pick in the 2005 SuperDraft which had to be among the top 30 overall. Chicago had acquired the 2005 25th overall pick from Real Salt Lake on December 30, 2004 for forward Dipsy Selolwane and defender Evan Whitfield. The MetroStars selected midfielder Chris Corcoran with the 2005 25th overall pick.

G - 2nd Round, 8th pick:

June 14, 2005: Chicago Fire acquired San Jose's natural 2006 2nd Round pick (20th overall) for defender Kelly Gray.

H - 3rd Round, 1st pick:

March 11, 2005: Los Angeles Galaxy acquired Chivas USA's natural 2006 3rd Round SuperDraft pick (25th overall) for defender Ryan Suarez.

I - 3rd Round, 5th pick:

November 22, 2005: Kansas City acquired the MetroStars' natural 2006 3rd Round pick (29th overall) for the rights to defender Taylor Graham.

J - 4th Round, 2nd pick:

November 15, 2004: FC Dallas acquired Real Salt Lake's natural 2006 4th Round SuperDraft pick (38th overall) and future considerations for forward Jason Kreis.

K - 4th Round, 3rd pick:

January 24, 2004: D.C. United acquired Columbus' natural 2006 4th Round SuperDraft pick (39th overall) for forward Devin Barclay.

L - 4th Round, 7th pick:

July 23, 2004: FC Dallas acquired D.C. United's natural 2006 4th Round SuperDraft pick (43rd overall) and 2005 2nd Round Supplemental Draft pick for forward Jason Thompson. FCD selected defender Drew Cavanagh with the 2005 2nd Round Supplemental pick.

M - 4th Round, 11th pick:

January 20, 2005: D.C. United acquired New England's natural 2006 4th Round SuperDraft pick (47th overall) for goalkeeper Doug Warren.

N - 4th Round, 5th pick:

December 6, 2005: San Jose acquired the MetroStars natural 2006 4th Round SuperDraft pick (41st overall) for goalkeeper Jon Conway.
