[MLS] Chivas USA has signed Mexican beer Corona Extra to a multi-year agreement as its shirt sponsor.

Corona Extra, brewed by Grupo Modelo, has been the No. 1 imported premium beer in the United States for more than a decade and is one of the most well-known Mexican exports.

It will appear on Chivas USA team gear as well as have a significant and visible presence at Chivas USA’s home games and other events.

Mexico paint company Comex was the Chivas USA jersey sponsor for three years (2007-09).
