[TELEVISION WATCH]MLS's decision on one or more national American broadcasters to join ESPN remains up in the air, but it has reportedly landed a national Canadian broadcaster, capitalizing on its growing presence north of the border.

Multiple sources told the Province that MLS and TSN have agreed to a multi-year deal.

TSN's sister company Bell Canada is a major sponsor of the expansion Vancouver Whitecaps, MLS's second Canadian team.

Toronto FC joined MLS in 2007, and the Montreal Impact will begin play in 2013.

MLS has yet to renew its agreement with Fox Soccer Channel and Fox Soccer Plus.
