Inter Milan goalkeeper Julio Cesar left his car in the San Siro and walked home after his team's 1-0 Champions League loss to Bayern Munich to give himself time to think about his error that led to Mario Gomez's winning goal. The Brazilian keeper had failed to hold on to a long-range shot from Arjen Robben, setting up an easy rebound goal for Gomez.
Julio Cesar also apologized to fans and teammates.
"A bad night can happen,” Inter president Massimo Moratti said. "Julio Cesar has performed so many miracles in the past.”
