The Brazilian keeper had failed to hold on to a long-range shot from Arjen Robben, setting up an easy rebound goal forGomez.
Julio Cesar also apologized to fans and teammates.
“A bad night can happen,” Inter president Massimo Moratti said. “Julio Cesar has performed somany miracles in the past.”
