Herculez Gomez breaks out of slump

[AMERICANS ABROAD] Herculez Gomez, who shared last spring's Mexican scoring title, broke out of a season-long slump with two goals in rapid flash -- the second on a spectacular free kick -- to give Pachuca a 3-0 win over Jaguares in Mexico's Torneo Clausura. Gomez had scored only one goal in 24 games since joining Pachuca after scoring 10 goals in 15 games for Puebla.

Fellow Mexican-American Edgar Castillo scored for Puebla after coming off the bench to give it a 1-1 tie with Toluca.
