David Beckham will fly to London to attend next Friday's royal wedding between Britain's Prince William and fiancee Kate Middleton and then fly to Dallas the next morning for the Los Angeles Galaxy's game that day with FC Dallas in a rematch of last year's MLS Western Conference final.

"Obviously, it's not ideal with the travel, but it's a royal wedding and those don't come around very often," Beckham said. "So I'll b e there for the game, but it'll be down to [Galaxy coach] Bruce [Arena] to decide if I play or not."

Arena gave the green light. "I don't comment on his social calendar," Arena said. "David's playing against Dallas."
