[AMERICANS ABROAD] Maurice Edu won his third Scottish Premier League title in three years as Rangers won at Kilmarnock, 5-1, to clinch the title on the final day of the season.

The bid of Sacha Kljestan's Anderlecht to repeat as Belgian league champion ended when it was knocked out of contention with a 2-1 loss at Standard Liege.

In Mexico, Joe Benny Corona's Tijuana will have to go overtime in its bid to earn promotion to the First Division. The Xolos fell at Irapuato, 1-0, on a late goal and lost the final of the Torneo Ascenso's Torneo Clausura, 2-1, on aggregate.

Tijuana and Irapuato will meet this week in a two-game playoff series.
