At least two Birmingham City players stayed out drinking until 4 a.m. on Tuesday morning following the club’s end-of-season gala — news made public thanks to the wife of one of the players.
Back-up goalkeeper Colin Doyle‘s wife, Becky Doyle, let the world know she was upset with her husband staying out late with goalkeeper BenFoster: “****** off with my husband getting in at 4am with fossy [Foster] and waking me up. Celebrate next week when your [sic] safe. Have some respect.”
Birmingham is just onegoal clear of the relegation zone with one game remaining, at Tottenham this weekend.
Becky Doyle followed up with: “Golf bag and clubs still for sale. Comes with one hung-overhusband.”
