[DATEBOOK] A third game has been added to Real Madrid’s tour of North America this summer. Philadelphia and Seattle have agreed to move their July 23 league match against Seattle to Oct. 8, which opens up the date for the Union to play Real Madrid at Lincoln Financial Field at 9 p.m. ET. The game is part of the Herbalife World Football Challenge, which is being co-promoted by MLS and CAA Sports.

Real begins its tour July 16 in the Los Angeles Coliseum against the Galaxy and plays Guadalajara July 20 at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego. The game in Philadelphia concludes Real’s tour of the U.S. and will be the Union’s only match in the World Football Challenge that is bringing together MLS teams and clubs from the top leagues in England, Spain, and Mexico.

Spanish champion Barcelona, English Premier League winner Manchester United, and English FA Cup winner Manchester City are included in the field. Barcelona and Manchester United, which will play four matches including the MLS All-Star Game July 27 that is not part of the Challenge, are also meeting in the Champions League final May 28.
