[MLS ATTENDANCE] The MLS newcomers Portland Timbers sold out their Jen-Wen Field for the 10th straight time and the New York Red Bulls drew their biggest crowd of the season in Week 17. For MLS attendance rankings ...

* The Portland Timbers fell, 3-2, to Northwest rival Seattle on Sunday and are winless in their last seven games. But they've now drawn sellout crowds of 18,627 for each of their first 10 games in their inaugural MLS season.

* The New York Red Bulls drew a season-high crowd of 22,200 on Saturday but fell, 1-0, to D.C. United. The Bulls drew 15,269 for their Wednesday night game, a 5-0 rout of Toronto.

* Sporting Kansas City also had two home games in Week 17 -- 15,209 on Wednesday (1-1 tie with Colorado) and 18,467 for Saturday's 1-1 tie with Chivas USA.

* The leaguewide attendance average is more than 1,500 higher than last season's final figure.
