* The biggest crowd of the week appeared in Seattle -- as is always the case when the Sounders are at home. Watching their team's thrilling 4-3 victory over Colorado were 36,424.

* The crowd of 14,109 at Crew Stadium that witnessed a scoreless tie with San Jose was the Crew's second largest of the season, behind the 14,549 for a matchup against Dallas in April.

* Chivas USA, Chicago and New England also drew crowds bigger than their average.
