[AMERICANS ABROAD] Joe Benny Corona, 21, scored in his Mexican Primera Division debut, but Tijuana fell at home to Morelia, 2-1. DaMarcus Beasley was the only American to win in Mexico, starting for Puebla in its 1-0 victory at Atlas. Other Americans to score were Chris Rolfe with a volley from distance in AaB Aalborg's 2-1 win over AGF Aarhus in Denmark, and Matt Taylor with his first goal since joining German Second Division club Paderborn. Maurice Edu's Rangers could only manage a 1-1 tie against Hearts at home as it began its Scottish Premier League title defense.
