U.S. midfielder Michael Bradley is under contract with Borussia Moenchengladbach through June 30, 2012, but the club announced on the eve of the Bundesliga's season start that the 24-year-old has no future with the team he joined in 2008.

"He wants to leave and no longer plays a role here," said Coach Lucien Favre.

Bradley spent the second half of the 2010-11 season on loan at Aston Villa but the permanent moved to the EPL he had hoped for never came after he made just three appearances, all as a substitute.

Bradley scored 10 goals in 76 appearances for Gladbach.
