Boston Breakers must stifle Wambach

The Boston Breakers captured the fourth spot in the WPS playoffs thanks to a 2-0 win over Sky Blue on two Lauren Cheney goals in their fina regular-season game. They face magicJack Wednesday evening (7:30 pm ET, Fox Soccer Channel), and the winner advances to the semifinal on Saturday against Philadelphia.

MagicJack's roster includes World Cup Abby Wambach, Christie Rampone, Megan Rapinoe and Hope Solo.

"Tough game," said Boston coach Tony DiCicco. "They have Abby Wambach and you have to figure out how to deal with it. I mean, it’s like Kobe Bryant when he is feeling his shot. But we will come up with a tactic.

"We were embarrassed last time we were down there. They beat us, 4-0. We played a better game against them last week here, but they still beat us. So, we will be better down there again.”
