Porto, the 2011 Europa League champion, and Inter Milan and Bayern Munich, the 2010 UEFA Champions League finalists, complete Pot 1.

Ten play-off winners joined the 22 automatic entrants in the draw. No team can meet another from the same country in the group stage.

The team to avoid will be German champion Borussia Dortmund in Pot 4.

The eight four-team groups will begin play Sept. 13-14.

Pot 1: Manchester United, Barcelona, Chelsea, Bayern Munich, Arsenal, Real Madrid, Porto, Inter Milan.

Pot 2: Shakhtar Donetsk, Lyon, Villarreal, AC Milan, Valencia, Marseille, CSKA Moscow, Benfica.

Pot 3: Zenit St. Petersburg, Man City, Olympiakos, Ajax, Bayer Leverkusen, BATE Borisov, Basle, Lille.

Pot 4: Borussia Dortmund, Trabzonspor, Dinamo Zagreb, Napoli, APOEL, Genk, Otelul Galati, Viktoria Plzen.
