[OKLAHOMA STATE-ORAL ROBERTS] Oklahoma State fans would not have figured Kyndall Treadwell’s goal just over five minutes in was all the No. 6 Cowgirls would get, but it was the only goal they scored in a disappointing 1-0 win over Oral Roberts Tuesday night.

The Cowgirls improved to 5-0-0 with the win, but Oral Roberts probably deserved a result, according to OSU head coach Colin Carmichael, who earned his 99th-career victory.

“We’re disappointed with our performance and preparation," said Carmichael. "Maybe the early goal made us think it was going to be an easy game … We’ll take the shutout because if we don’t get that, we might not have gotten the win.”

OSU outshot the Golden Eagles by a 25-5 margin.

The Golden Eagles’ best chance came in the 62nd minute when a Whitney Booth shot from 40 yards out sailed just over the crossbar.
