[AMERICANS ABROAD] Oguchi Onyewu made his Portuguese league debut with Sporting, starting in its 3-2 at Pacos Ferreira. The Lisbon club came back from 2-0 down to win with three goals in final quarter of an hour. Carlos Bocanegra and Maurice Edu started for Rangers in its 1-0 win at Dundee United that kept it in first place in Scotland's Premier League. Michael Bradley did not play for Chievo Verona, which had a player sent off and blew a 2-0 lead at home against promoted Novara and had to settle for a 2-2 tie. Of note was U.S. U-20 international Terrence Boyd's seventh goal in seven games since joining Borussia Dortmund II. Boyd scored in Borussia Dortmund II’s 4-0 win over Schalke 04 II in the German Regionalliga. For more on Americans abroad in action this weekend ...
