[AROUND THE COUNTRY] Air Force (6-1-0) for goals from Garrett Getschow, Kevin Durr and Kevin Durr 124 seconds apart in the first eight minutes and cruised past Buffalo, 6-1.

Getschow and Melcher scored in the first seven minutes of the second half, and Conor Henry added the final Falcon goal in the 87th minute.

-- Junior Alex Crooks scored on a 76th-minute header to lift Furman to its sixth straight victory with a 1-0 triumph at Jacksonville. Crooks got on the end of a Jacob Brown cross in the 76th minute to break a scoreless draw.

-- UAB defender Mladen Lemez recorded a pair of goals, including the game-winner five minutes into the first overtime, to lift the Blazers to a 2-1 overtime victory over Milwaukee. The Blazers won their “Soccer For A Cure” Classic and remain unbeaten at 5-0-2, their second best start to a season.

-- Freshman Dylan Terry chipped in a pass from junior Jesse Sharp with 29 seconds remaining in overtime to give Evansville a 2-1 win over Memphis that gave the Purple Aces Bradley’s Grand Prairie Classic championship. The loss was the first for Memphis (5-1-1).
