[CREIGHTON-PROVIDENCE] No. 3 Creighton’s 3-0 win over No. 25 Providence on a wet Saturday night kept the Bluejays perfect with six wins in six games, allshutouts. They have matched their best start since 2000 when they reached the NCAA Division I championship game.
Creighton needed only four minutes to get on the board, being awarded apenalty kick when Dion Acoff was taken down inside the box after settling a perfect feed from Jose Gomez.
All-American Ethan Finlay converted the penalty for his third goal of the season and the Jays never looked back.
