[SCOREBOARD] Venezuela beat Argentina for the first time ever in World Cup qualifying when it won, 1-0, Tuesday in Puerto La Cruz on Fernando Amorebieta's goal.

Colombia became the first team to win on the road in South America when it beat Bolivia, 2-1, in the high altitude of La Paz on Radamel Falcao's goal in stoppage time.

In Concacaf, Panama became the first team to clinch a berth in the semifinal round with a 5-0 win over Belize.

Canada was held to a 0-0 tie by Puerto Rico in Toronto. It would have clinched first place in Group D with a win.

Antigua & Barbuda took over first place in Group F when it got hat tricks from Tamarley Thomas and Peter Byers of the Los Angeles Blues and beat the U.S. Virgin Islands, 10-0, and favorite Haiti was held to a 2-2 tie by Curacao at home.
