[EURO 2012 QUALIFYING] Cristiano Ronaldo's Portugal beat Bosnia in a playoff to qualify for the 2010 World Cup, and it will need to beat the highly rated Bosnians to reach the 2012 European Championship finals in Poland and Ukraine. For more on the Euro 2012 qualifying draw ...

Portugal went into Tuesday's game against Denmark needing only a tie to clinch the Group H title, but the Danes won, 2-1, to qualify directly for the Euro 2012 finals.

Ronaldo was injured when Portugal met Bosnia in the 2010 World Cup playoffs in 2009, but the Portuguese won both games, 1-0, to go through to the finals in South Africa.

On Tuesday, Bosnia was a quarter of an hour away from clinching a berth in the finals when Samir Nasri's penalty kick gave host France a 1-1 tie that gave the Bleus the Group D title.

But Safet Susic's team had been the better team for much of the evening at the Stade de France.

The first game will be played Nov. 11 or 12 in Sarajevo. Portugal will have home advantage for the second leg on Nov. 15.
