[DAVIDSON-NORTH CAROLINA] Davidson produced one of the biggest upsets of the season when Jake Keator’s goal in the 82nd minute gave the Wildcats a 1-0 win over No. 2 North Carolina before a record crowd of 1,941 at Alumni Stadium.

Alex Givens fed Keator, who maneuvered past a pair of defenders and sent a blast from 25 yards into the top right corner of the net.

Carolina outshot Davidson, 16-3, but Chip Sanders made seven saves for his career-high seventh shutout of the season.

Davidson had come into the game with just had one win in its last six outings. North Carolina (11-2-1) had a nine-match unbeaten streak.
