[AMERICANS ABROAD] Michael Bradley was again in the starting lineup for Chievo Verona, which dropped a 1-0 decision at home to Bologna and dropped into a four-way tie for 12th place in Italy's Serie A.

DaMarcus Beasley won his duel with Herculez Gomez as Puebla beat Estudiantes Tecos, 2-1, and Michael Orozco Fiscal started for San Luis in a winning effort.

Timothy Chandler (Nuremberg) and Jermaine Jones (Schalke 04) were winners in the German Cup.
