[CONFERENCE USA] Two goals by Katilyn Atkins early in the second half helped No. 4 Memphis (18-0-1) cap an undefeated regular season with a 2-0 victory at UAB.

Atkins was credited with the first goal in the 47th minute after Blazer keeper CJ Winship missed on a clearance. A minute later, Atkins' shot hit the crossbar and bounced straight down into the goal.

Goalie Elis Kuhar-Pitters collected her single-season record 13th shutout of the season. The Tiger defense limited the Blazers to five shots in the match, none on goal.

Memphis will host the Conference USA Tournament Nov. 2-6.

Colorado College will be the No. 2, while UCF and SMU round out the top four teams. East Carolina, UTEP and Tulsa have also qualified for the postseason tournament.

The eighth team will be either Rice or Houston. The Owls face the Cougars, their crosstown rivals, Friday at UH's Robertson Stadium.
