[VIDEO PICK] Tim Pontius, brother of D.C. United star Chris Pontius, scored one of the best goals of the college season when he scored from more than 60 yards out on Wednesday night for UC Santa Barbara in its 3-1 win over UC Davis.

Pontius, who was back in the Gaucho lineup following a one-game red card suspension, had two goals in the win, which snapped the Gauchos' two-game losing skid and improved their record to 10-5-1 on the season and 3-4 in Big West play.

On the second goal, Aggie goalkeeper Omar Zeenni had left the goal unattended after clearing the ball, and Pontius was able to get the ball in the midfield and fire off a high arching shot from 61 yards out into the empty goal.
