[AMERICANS ABROAD] Clint Dempsey scored his third league goal of the season in Fulham's 2-0 win at Wigan, only its second win in 10 English Premier League games. Sacha Kljestan scored for Anderlecht in its 4-0 win over Lierse that leaves it six points in front of Gent at the top of Belgium's Jupiler League. Jermaine Jones got the better of fellow German-Americans Daniel Williams and Fabian Johnson in Schalke 04's 3-1 win over Hoffenheim.
