[NJCAA DIVISION III] Herkimer County Community College won the NJCAA Division III men's title on Sunday with a 4-1 win over Genesee.
Englishman Charlie Anderson led the Generals with two goals. He opened the scoring in the 17th off a pass from Scotsman Craig McCabe.
Herkimer broke open the game in the second half on goals by Canadian Jordan Stoddart and Cody Farrier.
The win was revenge for a 1-0 loss to Genesee last month.
Herkimer beat Bergen CC of New Jersey 5-2, and Long Island’s Nassau CC, 5-0, to advance to the final.
Genesee posted wins over Manchester CC of Connecticut (4-2) and Anoka-Ramsey CC of Minnesota (3-0).
The Generals have now won eight national titles and 22 straight Region III titles.
