[MLS AWARDS] Retiring Seattle Sounders goalie Kasey Keller was voted the 2011 Allstate MLS Goalkeeper of the Year. He played in every minute of every game for the Sounders, who finished with the second-best record in MLS this season.
Keller, 41, won a league-high 18 games this season and led all starting goalkeepers in MLS in saves percentage (76 percent) while posting a 1.09 goals-against average and recording nine shutouts.
Keller ended a 20-year professional career that began in England and included stints in Germany and Spain before he finished up in Seattle, which he joined for its first MLS season in 2009.
