Castillo headed to Tijuana

[AMERICANS ABROAD] Edgar Castillo is on the move again, leaving Club America on loan to Tijuana, his sixth club in the last three years.

The New Mexico product has played more games than any other American currently in Mexico but he has jumped around since joining Club America in 2009.  He has had loan stints at Tigres, San Luis and Puebla and returned to the Aguilas for the 2011 Torneo Apertura.

He started five games for America and the first two games of the Jurgen Klinsmann era with the U.S. national team but didn't play a game after a mid-season coaching change at America.

Tijuana finished in a tie for 15th place in its first season in the top level. Based on Mexico's complicated relegation formula, the Xoloitzcuintles are in danger of being relegated.
