[AMERICANS ABROAD] Oguchi Onyewu's first-half goal was enough to give Sporting a 1-0 win over Nacional in Portugal. For video of the goal ...

Onyewu was in the right spot at the far post to nod home a free kick in the 22nd minute for his second goal, both gamewinners, since moving to Portugal.

The win gave the Lions, third in the Liga Zon Sagres, nine wins in a row in all competitions.
