[VIDEO PICK] Edgar Prib, now a YouTube hit, said he "died a thousand deaths" when he missed an open goal in German second division play.

The 21-year-old Greuther Fuerth midfielder hit the post from three yards against Eintracht Frankfurt after he chipped the ball over keeper Oka Nikolov.

“I could have decided that game but instead the god of soccer did not want it that way," Prib said after the 0-0 tie.

    At least he hit the post. I have seen worse from higher level players.

    I like the fact that he shot from about a yard outside the 6-yard box, but the article states he hit the post from 3 yards out. Still an embarrassing miss...
