The Paris daily Le Parisien reports that David Beckham will he headed to Paris St. Germain: "C'est fait!" ("It's done!"). The move to leave the Los Angeles Galaxy follows four months of negotiations. An agreement in principle has been reached on an 18-month contract -- through the end of the 2012-13 season -- and a contract will be signed in January when Beckham is eligible to move.

In a deal dubbed the "contract of the century," Beckham will earn a little more than a $1 million a month, as well as reap the rewards of a merchandising agreement in his contract.

Beckham's signing follows that of French-based stars Mohamed Sissoko, Blaise Matuidi, Jeremy Menez and young Argentine Javier Pastore. PSG has gone on a wild spending spree after Qatari investors bought a controlling 70 percent stake in the club in May.
