[NATIONAL ELITE PREP SHOWCASE] Flower Mound Marcus, Southlake Carroll and Keller, all Texas teams, were the only teams to win all four games at the National Elite Prep Showcase. Perhaps the biggest surprise of the weekend was Marcus' 2-0 win over Ursuline Academy of Dallas, which entered the game at 13-0-0. Katelyn Mountjoy and Baylee Mitchell scored for the Marauders.

-- Carroll won all four games by shutout at the 32-team tournament featuring teams from California, Florida and Texas. Keller won its four games by a margin of 9-2. The tournament was played at TCU as well as other venues in Fort Worth, Grapevine and Southlake, whose Dragon Stadium will be familiar to MLS fans as the old home of the Dallas Burn.

-- The tournament featured five of the top 10 teams and 13 teams ranked in the ESPN Rise's POWERADE FAB 50. Top-ranked McKinney Boyd, another Dallas area team, was seconds away from going 4-0-0 at the tournament but it had to settle for a 2-2 tie with Grapevine in its final match.
