[CONCACAF UNDER-20 WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP] The USA will face host Panama, Guatemala and Cuba in group play at the Concacaf Under-20 Women’s Championship to be played March 1-11.
The eight-team tournament will be played exclusively in Panama City's Estadio Rommel Fernandez. Group A consists of Mexico, Canada, Haiti and Jamaica.
The finalists and winner of the third-place game qualify for the 2012 FIFA Under-20 Women’s World Cup.
The World Cup was set to be played this summer in Uzbekistan, but FIFA pulled the plug due to logistical and technical reasons. Japan has been proposed as the new host.
