[AMERICANS ABROAD] Sacha Kljestan's Anderlecht beat Gent, 3-1, in their top-of-the-standings clash in Belgium's Jupiler League, extending its lead to nine points with eight games left in the first phase of the championship.

Kljestan played the entire game for Anderlecht, which came back from a goal down in the 8th minute to win.

Milan Jovanovic scored two goals, and Matias Suarez had the third.

Anderlecht has extended its lead over Gent from two to nine points in the three games since the winter break.
