USA to host Brazil in World Cup qualifying tuneup

[DATEBOOK] The U.S. national team will host five-time World Cup champion Brazil May 30 at FedExField in Landover, Md. (TV: ESPN2, ESPN3 and Univision, 8 p.m. ET). It will be the second of three friendlies scheduled before World Cup 2014 qualifying starts in June. For the complete 2012 schedule ...

This will be the fourth meeting in as many years between the United States and Brazil, the most recent a 2-0 win for the Selecao on Aug. 10, 2010, in front of more than 77,000 fans at the New Meadowlands Stadium.

Brazil leads the series with 15 wins in 16 games. The lone U.S. came at the 1998 Gold Cup when Preki scored to give the USA a 1-0 win. Kasey Keller earned the shutout.
