[WISCONSIN-MILWAUKEE] Greg Henschel, who led both the men's and women's programs at Wisconsin-Whitewater to Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference titles and NCAA Tournament berths this past fall, is the new women's coach at Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Henschel has been in charge of both the men's and women's programs at Whitewater since 1999, leading the two programs to a combined 290 victories and 11 NCAA Tournament berths.

Henschel replaces Michael Moynihan, who left UWM last month to become the head coach at Northwestern.

"I am honored to join the Milwaukee Panther family," said Henschel, who capped his tenure as the Warhawk women's coach with a record-setting season in 2011. The team set school records for wins (14) and winning percentage (.705) as he was named the WIAC Coach of the Year.

Ryan Quamme will assume the head coaching position for women’s soccer at Whitewater.
