Davies returns to action for Sochaux

[AMERICANS ABROAD] Twenty-eight months after his last appearance in Ligue 1, Charlie Davies returned to action for French club Sochaux, coming on as a sub in its 1-0 loss at Rennes. Sochaux is not the club it was when Davies got off to a roaring start in 2009 before he was seriously injured in a car crash outside Washington, D.C. It is in last place in the 20-team league. In his final EPL game before he returns to Los Angeles, Landon Donovan had another assist for Everton in its 2-0 win over Chelsea. For more on Americans in action abroad ...
